Psychology is the study of human behaviours using scientific methods to both analyse and explain different human behaviours. You will look at research methods and look in detail at key themes and core studies from historical and contemporary cases. You will then study a unit on mental health and choose to study two specialist areas, choosing from the topics of child psychology, criminal psychology, environmental psychology and sport and exercise psychology.
The study of psychology can help you thrive in many sectors with some examples including careers in media and marketing, the NHS, the police, education and social services.
